In June 1944, an eight man squad of the 2nd Ranger Battalion leave the beaches of Normandy on a mission to find Private James Francis Ryan. On their way to find the lost paratrooper, they come across a down German radio tower post. There they capture a lone German soldier who proceeds to advise the Rangers that there is something evil in the land and pleads for them to leave, for them to take him with them. Out of the eight men, only Corporal Timothy Upham listens and attempts to help the prisoner, all the while something supernatural begins plucking the soldiers one by one.
If you can tolerate high pitch voices, the constant use of the word “like”, complete and utter willful ignorance, and a whole shit ton of internalized misogyny…. I highly recommend this video.
